Now Unreal Tournament 3 has been pushed back, I'm thinking about it depending on if I get Jericho or not.

I just find alot of problems with this game.

First of all, its selling point seemed to be Nectar, which was already a boring idea considering it just made you better when other games like The Darkness offered more interesting twists on FPS. Then they say you change sides, not only making the first half of the game pointless, but also taking away Nectar, and giving you a few, limited, boring ways to turn it round.

I mean great, you can turn people crazy and WATCH them kill other soliders for you... amazing.

There are some plus points like the pretty graphics, heavy co-op focus, and vehicle levels, but so far this game seems like a big snore to me.

This game above all others, needs a demo this year. I have the same issues you do. I agree it looks great, but I will need to play it before I spend money on it. It probably won't happen though. Besides, my addiction to Warhawk has not let up yet, so I will not be hurting to bad to get it. If one of the few on here (you included) whose opinions matter to me gets it, I will probably follow their advice also.

Im on the fence. Im intereted bc Free Radical is making it but I'll wait for reviews. I definetly hope a demo comes out bc that can make or break this game for alot of people

I think I’m going to buy this game actually, it looks really tight imo. I love the nectar use in the game because Nectar is a drug that censors the world from the Mantel soldier making him think he is doing the right thing when really its up in the air.

There is this crazy part in the game where you walk into a room and there is a disruption with your nectar supply so it needs to reboot so it shuts down and this cool looking room with a new couch and desk with papers on it flashes into a room covered with blood and slaughtered men, women, and children on the couch/floor/table. Then the nectar comes back online and it cleans the world up making the bodies disappear and nothing but the fake room you saw when you first walked into the room. Then your team mate walks over to the table and puts his hands on the table, really putting his hands on a rotting corpse. :(

I think the game has an interesting concept and how it’s not black and white like Resistance or Halo where the bad guys are known, you actually have to play the game and make a decision for yourself with who you want to fight for and why.

I also like how the game will make you feel really uncomfortable in certain situations like when you have to execute civilians if you hesitate your other mantel soldiers will call you a Pu$$y and make rude remarks to you and pressure you into doing things you don't want to do.

It’s kind of sad in a way because I have a feeling this game is going to be very controversial with how far they are trying to make it real in war terms. :(

Definite buy!

I'll definately buy it, even if I do end up with Jericho and UT3 I'll still buy it, if it offers me a different type of game then I'm all for it

It actually looks quite intriguing to me. A demo will probably make this a must sell for PS3 owners who need a couple of FPS games to tide them over til KZ2 comes out.

not very excited about this game. even though there are a few elements that aren't in any of the other shooters coming out...they aren't enough to make this game really stand out. i've been watching the videos they've been putting out on Gametrailers and it seems like it would get boring after a while. there's nothing here that strikes my fancy. shooters that DO look like fun, to me, are Halo 3 (waiting on my 360 to get back), Blacksite: Area 51, Team Fortress 2, Killzone 2, Fracture, and Call of Duty 4.

I like the the whole you can make your enemy nuts and shoot his teammates. Reminds me a little of Psi Ops, where you mentally took control of someone, and could also make them commit suicide.

I'm 95% sure I'm getting it. A demo or some positive reviews will help seal the deal.
