I actually agree.

After watching the 7 minute preview, these scenes that appeared to be really powerful and emotional in the trailers, didn't quite amount to what was expected.

They weren't bad.

But for instance, in the trailers, Magneto's speech in the church was spine tingling. In the 7 minute preview, it was just kinda "wham, bam, I'm mutant hear me roar" and just not as powerful.

I did, however, have a geek-gasm when Callisto

asked him "You're a mutant? Where's your mark?" and Magneto replied "My dear, I've already been marked, and they won't ever touch my skin again" as he showed his tattoo from the concentration camp.

Yeah, based on that last line, I believe now more than ever that Magneto will be injected with the cure by the end of the movie in some form or another--major irony.

Keeping tabs doesn't mean spending all my waking hours drooling over the movie.

As I've stated, the runtime is my major concern. Nothing more, nothing less. But your "budget, cast, effects" is another persons "runtime, death of cyke, cure of Rogue, corny lines, etc."

But your statement was hypocritical. You based your positive outlook on your assumptions (though I don't see how superficial things like budget and effects necessarily beat storyline and pacing) and people base their negative outlook on their assumptions. You have no more right to "judge" the movie than the people you chastise.

And neither do you. Stop your whining. People that complain and whine 24/7 need to stop and realize they are getting another X-Men movie in the first place. Be happy with what you get.
