And those are legitimate concerns....nothing wrong with having concerns, I do to, as do many, but to deem it a flop or just saying your not gonna see it is quite foolish if you ask me hero

I've never thought of you as pain Hero....honestly, your one of the many few posts I read on these forums..Thank you.
I mean, honestly, I get that I can be a pain in the ass myself at times when I'm at my lowest when it comes to my viewpoint of this franchise, but I don't think I've sunk as low as a certain other poster here.
I do think that some of these concerns that I bring up are somewhat legitimate and we've had examples with other comic book films where the fame of the stars have influenced on how their characters are portrayed, in contrast to what they're known for in the comics.
....and I wasnt pointing at you when I made my comment, but yea I agree....lol I know WB and crew are not loved by many lol, but getting Affleck I think(especially now) is a good move. I'm sure there's going to be balance in power...at least we hope...
Good attitude, shape.I've always said Batman's casting should be "out of the box" and I think this qualifies as such. No one saw it coming and Affleck wasn't on the ridiculous list of pretty boys that some people were campaigning for. Let's see what he can do!
You know what would be awesome? If WB brought on Affleck just to act, and then as a (more) successful and well-respected writer/producer/director/fanboy/major-Hollywood-mover, he just took over the whole dang operation.
Same here. I hate conventional wisdom. Mostly cuz it's so, y'know, conventional. With the Affleck casting, I'm actually halfway rooting for the movie. I want him to prove a lot of naysayers wrong, if he does it right.
Still a bit of trepidation in terms of story and script though.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the process began earlier this year, after director Zack Snyder had finished working on Man of Steel with producer Christopher Nolan. Snyder and the studio already had ideas for a follow-up, and Snyder reached out to Affleck to check the star's interest.
And so begins the period where everything Batman takes center stage of this film's production.
This is exactly what I, along with many others feared regarding Batman's involvement in this film, that the focus would no longer be on Superman but on everything and anything involving Batman, and it doesn't help that they chose Ben, who's selection for the role has gained even more focus on Batman than Superman.
If this is what we can expect for the coming months, and the film itself, then I think it's safe to say that Batman has screwed Superman.
