Is Halo 4 in Development?

I don't think so. I'm quite sure there is another Halo game in development, but I don't think it's "Halo 4". In fact, I don't think there will ever be a game called "Halo 4".

What? You SERIOUSLY don't think we'll ever see a game called Halo 4? Not being a jerk when I say this, but I think that's crazy, lol.

If/When we get Halo 4 it will be developed by 343, that's pretty much an easy guess.

We WILL see/play as Master Chief again.

No, I definitely agree that we'll see another chapter in Master Chief's story, but I just don't think it will be called "Halo 4". The core Halo games (1,2,3, and Reach) weren't about Master Chief; they tell the story of humanity's conflict with The Covenant and The Flood. And that story was finished with Halo 3.

Yeah, I understand that....and it totally makes sense to call it something else even if MC is indeed the star, however....most people would probably be insanely confused by the name switch and we'd hear things like "Bungie owns the name Halo...that's why 343 is calling it InsertNewNameHere" at least I would...working at GameStop one hears some doosies.

Halo 4, the return of Master Chief and Cortana, is in the making, and will see light of day as a launch title for the next Xbox.

Why do i say this?
Common sense
