...get progressively in worse shape every time they made a sequel. It really seems to me, from a fitness standpoint, that he doesn't take the role seriously. Actors like Christian Bale admittedly hate physical training, yet are dedicated to the craft enough that when they get a part like Batman they train hard for it. Tobey seems to honestly lack that committment.

yeah, it looks like he didnt even work out for this one...I'm guessing that's why in the shower scene we only see him from his shoulders up.

Yeah, he was buff in the first film, than he was actually pretty lean in the second movie, then there was a bit of pudginess to him this time around.

He was alright in 1 and 2....but watching 3, i kept thinking all the way through it 'Now I know who the 4th villain is! The Blob!!!'

Ok...mean....but that chubby chin. God, it was distracting.

urgh.

Probably don't seem like it's much of a point since most of the time, a stunt guy is in the Spider-Man suit. Save for scenes where either Peter takes his mask off or in the final battle where it's left in pieces.

Yeah he did look a little pudgy in 3. Oh well.

He got back in shape for the film- I'm pretty sure- but fat Tobey is funny lol... the film even poked fun at it!

Remember the "my back! oh my back!" scene?

They had a very very similar joke between Eddie and Spider-Man, during which Brock tells Spidey that Peter's pictures make Spidey look bloated/fat. Lol.

He looked like the same sized white boy with problems to me.

I thought his body looked thin and his face looked a bit chubby in certain scenes, but his face always looks kind of chubby.

It's mostly a stunt guy in Batman too...doesn't mean you let him do all the work.

People get old!

His hair has been different also from the first movie, it was shorter.

D!

Naw he was out of shape they even CGI`ed his chest in the bell tower and never once showed us his top half, i think he managed to slim down from his fat stage but never got toned

You know, I never noticed it, but he did wear a lot of slimming colors and baggy clothes in the movie...hmm.
