Is it just me or would this Brotherhood team totally kick the X-Men's ass?

Brotherhood
Magneto
Phoenix
Juggernaut

Any of these 3 at full power would occupy most of the X-Team by themselves

Mystique
Pyro
Multiple Man
Arclight/Stacy X
Callisto
Ken Leung
Psylocke

Vs

X-Men
Storm
Wolverine
Rogue (non powered version)
Iceman (weak non-ice version)
Beast (out of shape version)
Xavier (pretty much dead version)
Cyclops (pretty much deader version)
Angel
Kitty
Colossus

I'm scared for our much loved X-buddies :(

you had me at hello!

There gonna have to work hard as a team

Besides you can scracth 3 of them off because Ken Leung supposedley gets killed by storm during the neighboorhood scene and Multiple man gets killed by Wolverine and Mysiqtue dies from the cure

Besides i dont think the movie version of Juggernaut is as strong as the comic version so they might have it so that cololosus slow him donw a bit

but it will most def be very interesting to see indeed...

LOL Interesting thread, those three alone would give ALL of them trouble.

Thank goodness the X-Men will have been developing and honing their powers since X2, then, eh? The Danger Room is there for a reason in X3.

there were way more brotherhood then jost those ones, like in the trailer. have you seen the trailer I made? It revolves arround the brotherhood and the end has the last stand quote, that in hope of survival or watever they must make a last stand

Storm's powers are clearly amped up in this film, Wolverine is supposedly going to go crazy-berserk in this one, Colossus can do some major damage, and it seems obvious that Iceman's powers are also evolving. And where the idea that Beast is out of shape comes from, I'm not sure. I've seen nothing but praise for Kelsey Grammar's acrobatic and athletic ability. Also, it may not be just the X-Men VS. The Brotherhood. The government plays a factor in this film, too. Remember those footsoldiers in the trailer? The presence of Bolivar Trask?

And don't forget about Rogue. If she gets her hands on either Magneto/Phoenix/Juggernaut, the Brotherhood is in for a nasty suprise.

Agreed. Shadowcat can probably do some weird things to people, too.

I believe that without Phoenix, the brotherhood would lose. With her, sigh, she would´nt need the brotherhood.

As soon as colossus metals up and shouts "grrrrrrrr!" the brotherhood will pee their pants!! lol

Beast looks good in my opinion. Maybe there are more mutants that are on the side of the X-Men perhaps?

The only major threat in the Brotherhood is Jean. She will keep the Professor's hands full. But the rest? Pfffft.

Consider:

*If Rogue gets her hands on any of them, they're done for, especially Juggs--which I'm hoping for. Her absorbtion abilities makes her equal to any task or foe. I wouldn't worry about her.

*Wolverine is a diesel killing machine--he's unstoppable and his healing factor alone will keep him virtually invulnerable to any long-lasting harm anyone can inflict upon him. Plus, he's lightning fast--you all saw how he jumped out of those trees.

*All Kitty has to do is run through folks and grab a heart or two on the way out. Nuff said. LOL

*As for Storm?

Um, yeah. Storm is probably the X-Men's biggest sheer powerhouse because she controls the elements. Therefore, she determines what kind of playing field they fight on. With gusts of high winds, heavy rains, slippery, freezing conditions or even increased heat, a large percentage of the Brotherhood will be taken out at her hand. Hell, a wall of wind will level half of 'em out the box.

*With a mere mental flick of his finger, Xavier can make the entire Brotherhood (with the exception of Magneto, Phoenix and likely Juggs) believe they're all 14 year old little girls. He could easily turn the entire Brother on each other--via "Divide & Conquer". Simple.

*Collossus and Beast are both excellent melee fighters who should do well in combat--by sheer brute force.

*Ice Man can incapacitate a large number of people, and like Storm, make fighting conditions very slippery.

Of course, the Brotherhood all have powers of their own to counteract the above, but with Xavier and Storm, the X-Men have a huge advantage that's equal to that of the Phoenix (as far as taking out large numbers of people in one swoop).

With a combination of Angel and Shadowcat working with Rogue, if she wanted to grab somebodies powers, she could definetely do it.

the xmen win only because theyre supposed to...

Magneto isn't a threat? The man tears apart entire bridges and you think he isn't a threat? I should think Pyro could inflict some nasty damage too.

Iceman shoots the air around Pyro. No oxygen, no fire.

Magneto and Phoenix are the biggest ones for the brotherhood, just like how Storm and Wolverine are the biggest for the Xmen. Storm pulls a wind gust at Magneto, helmet flies off, Xavier sacks his ass with a psycic pummeling...

well, it looks like the x men are going to have the army on their side aswell so theres an extra couple of hundred people there.

Im thinking that Phoenix might also go back to the x men in the end or even take herself out.

Lightning makes some good points aswell and i think kinberg said on the Xverse forums, dont underestimate the power of the x men working as a team. He also refused to comment on if any other mutants would be joining the x men in the final battle, maybe some from the funeral scene too. Argh, anything could happen

Well I think the problem is that with most superhero movies, they won't let us see the extreme sides of our heroes powers. Yet supervillians go the same way, because, yet it looks like Magneto is going to be taking it to the next level in this movie, along with Phoneix.

It seems like overtkill...but if Magneto and The Brotherhood are recruiting...might the X-Men do so as well?

Agreed (to BB), the x-men will have tricks up their sleeves. I mean, we've already seen the Fastball Special!
