Do you think if Wayne Enterprises has some secret "military vehicles", such as specially built motorcycles, or some kind of "military jet"....do you think Lucious Fox would possibly let Bruce have one?

And if so, what would it be? Do you think we could see a Batwing in the sequel?

I personally hope so, and I think it would be plenty realistic...if say, there came a situation where Batman couldn't JUST use the Batmobile, and/or his gliding cape. Perhaps Batman would need to be over water or something?

Thoughts?

If they find a good use for them in the plot, sure. But would I put them in there just to put them in there? Not at all.

Of course....if you go by the logic of, "It has to be NEEDED," then you technically didn't need the Tumbler, since the only purpose for it was the car chase.
Obviously, a new vehicle would only be used for some sort of action scene....and thats what its there for, anyway.

The batwing is a little bit too much.

I can see a military style chopper.

There was perfectly plausable reason written into the script; he had to get from the city to the Batcave. All the while needing to bring a partially-unconscious woman along with him. What was he supposed to do, walk?

B89 also provided a half-way decent excuse to include the Batwing - with Joker's balloons and all. I just don't want to see something like what happened in BF or B&R (and no, I don't think Nolan's even capable of doing something as half-assed as BF or B&R:o).

No, no Batwing or Batcycle. Stick with The Tumbler only. A Batwing is way too much for Nolan's Bats.

The Tumbler would eat the Batwing and Batcycle for breakfast. Tumbler is TEH BADASS!!!11

There are places it can't go though, such as narrow alleyways or highly mountainous areas with no roads.

I don't see any Mountains in Gotham City. Plus the Tumbler can 'fly on rooftop', it could go over the alley, or staight thru it!:)

It doesn't mean the movie has to stay in Gotham.

As long as the vehicle choices aren't too outlandish, I don't mind seeing more then one mode of transportation.

And how long have you and the Tumbler been dating?

It'd actually be awesome if Batman went overseas in one of the movies. That'd really be something drawn from the comics of the 70s.

Yeah, like in Begins.

Technically, that was Bruce. :o

But still, yeah, it'd be awesome if Bruce went overseas again in the movies. As the playboy Bruce Wayne like, as I said, he used to do in the comics.

I'de say there would have to be a good reason for Batman to use like a plane or a boat. A good example is in the original film where he used the batwing to swoop down and drag up the balloons intot eh sky to save the people from the joker gas.

Besides that I really don't see any reason why Bats should need anything but a car.

Bruce Wayne died in the alley with his parents:(

He should go to Lebanon and fight the Hezbollahs:o

Meet the batcycle.

I wouldn't mind that too. I just can't see a reson for it in TDK though...

it would have made more sense for him to have a bike in BB than the tumbler in my opinion.

At same time... where as I loved the chase scene and think the Tumbler performed greatly, don't like the look of it. And I also don't like that Wayne has a "Q" in the form of Lucius Fox. Wayne has always made his own vehicles. I would like to see a version of something along the lines of "B:TAS" vehicle. The only thing I would like him to use other than the BAT-MOBILE is Batsub. I think you can definitely come up with a good logical explanation for him to have use that. A lot better than Forever came up with. Of course... the could just always give the Bat-boat the ability to go underwater like in TAS.

Yes, if it fits the plot and Batman can't use the Tumbler i say bring on the new vehicles.

I don't understand why people don't think that the Tumbler can't be hijacked. There may be a situation where Batman needs a boat, or a bike or a jet.As Chris Nolan said things are going to get much harder for Batman.
