Is Raimi feeling stupid now?

Sam Raimi made three amazing films and I'm am sure he is feeling great and proud about these films right now for making them such a huge success.

My feelings exactly. All 3 films were amazing. Plus,Raimi himself has stated that has doesn't like including deleted scenes onto the DVD's. So,if a Spider-man 3.1 comes out it will be because of the studio, not Raimi.

I totally agree i think it's crazy how there are spidey fans who don't like the trilogy especially the third movie (which is the mest of the three) i can understand ppl who are just mvoie goers though becuase for one, they are just movie goers, and two, there comments don't mean spit when it comes to some films.

Raimi also did a good job marketing all three films

I understand Raimi not being concerned with Spiderman 2.1 since the theatrical release was his intention, but there isnt anything he wants to add or change to Spiderman 3? I'd understand it if only Sandman's face turn made any sense. The scenes with his daughter have to be inserted back into the movie.

He's told that his daughter is incurable, he still insists on getting the doctor more money, he agrees to team up with Venom to stop Spiderman from getting in his way anymore, his daughter tells him not to be a dick and just be there for her, he understands that what he's been doing is stupid and comes clean. When he floats off, we can assume he isnt going to be killing any more cops and robbing banks.

As the movie is now, he agrees to help Venom kill Spiderman, he is in the process of beating Spiderman to death with a giant sand hand until New Goblin shows up, he gets exploded and then fifteen minutes later he apologizes to Spiderman for killing Uncle Ben but not for attempting to kill Spiderman himself and then floats off, assumingly to go rob more banks.

I like the trilogy but the 3rd movie is definitly not the best.

LMAO Then you'd be surprised how much influence the general public has on these films. They just cant make these movies for the fans. :whatever:

yea it is kinda messed up when they have to try and make the movies appeal to fans and movie goers but it's like who gives a goblin's @$$ about movie goers, screw what they think, fans' opinions matter more than movie goers, just like ppl shouldn't care what epert and ropert think because they are just two over judgemental old hags anyway.

Yes its so messed up for the studios to try and appeal to all audiences and demographics and make all around great movie. Yes what a unbenificial and poor financial choice on their part.

Sam Raimi has made an excellent trilogy, he certainly gets my respect.

Jews only care about the money anyway :)

what i meant was that it seems like they appeal a little more towards movie goers rather than the actual fans sometimes. and i agree u should appeal to both but u should appeal more so towards the fans( since they are the real ppl who wnat to see movies like SM3). sheesh, u don't always have to make a comment to someone and be a smart-ass jerk in the process:csad:. unless of course that makes u feel good about yourself.

Rami shouldn't feel stupid, he did an awesome job making the Spidey movies

Spider-Man was good...the other two sucked.

And the only reason the first one was any good is because Willem Dafoe was Norman Osborn/Green Goblin.

^ I'm glad your opinion is fact. :whatever:

Also, I'd say that the movies tried to appeal to all audiences, young, old, men, women, teens, fan and not. You think it should be aimed more towards the fans, but that is not economically viable as they are a small part of the audience. I prefer a director trying to stay close to the material, but trying to make a good movie first and foremost. Raimi attempted that. But fans are never satisfied and even if it is a good movie will rip it to shreds if it isn't like the comics. See Burton's Batmans as examples. Raimi was actually fairly faithful, even if you hate the movies. But God forbid anyone make a logical concession when ranting is more fun.

Exactly, its nice that they think of the fans, but in retrospect were the minority of the movie audiences and fans can NEVER be 100% pleased.
