You do frequently post about things that are never going to happen as if they will though. The world will never become vegetarian let alone vegan. There will never be a total peace in the world even as the world is more peaceful than it's been in recorded history (the Ukraine, Afganistan and other smaller conflicts are nothing compared to what was happening).Yeah, I spend a lot of time debating this because almost every sociopolitical thread I get involved in here calls for it. It all comes down to this eventually.
I am not talking about an "ideal" world. You interpret it that way. I am just a logical person who points out objective facts about where we are currently and where we are heading. Nothing more, nothing less.
There can never be an "ideal" world or Utopia. Just a better one, that is constantly evolving and going through changes.
And while I have no problem with idealism or idealogical thinking, it has to be tempered with reality and with the realization that no matter how much you want, it will move in a direction no one can predict. That the world is better than it ever has been seems lost on you, but it seems lost on a lot of people who only see the negative, awful side of the world and don't see just how much things have improved, even if you don't like the way some of those improvements have come about.
