from all the zombie/infected movies ive seen, there isnt the ending where they found a way to cure or stop the zombie population or the infected

if you could create a ending to a zombie film how would you end it?

Well, I guess ideally scientists would find a cure and the zombies would become living humans again and everyone would live happily ever after.

Or a much more bleak ending could be that the human race and all other life is wiped out and without a food source the zombies die out too leaving Earth a dead planet.

I think Fido had a pretty nice ending for a zombie movie.

zombies get so smart they become human-like...and eventually smarter than humans since they can live forever
lol

After reading the title, for a second I thought this thread was about a way to stop Rob Zombie from doing films? :hehe:

Thats what I thought at first too. lol

I surely would like to stop him from making films but unfortunately I can't.

Return of the Living Dead had an ending, they just dropped a bomb and killed everyone.

Meteor hits the earth, Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck can't stop it this time because they are zombies.

Interbred with them. 5 thousand years from now everybody will be Human/Zombie hybrids.

How do you have sex with someone that wants to eat your face? And aren't zombies decompsing bodies? They wouldnt even be able to take care of a fetus.

Jeez dude, if your gonna write something, at least make sense.:o
:yay:

Zombies can't have babies because their eggs are rotten.

Anyway, Shaun of the Dead had an ending. [blackout]The remaining zombies get rehabilitated to be manual-labor peons.[/blackout]

One thing that I'm surprised that not many zombie flicks seem to play with though is the idea that eventually, zombies rot away to nothing. If you were living in the zombie apocalypse, it would be a matter of finding a safe place to hole yourself up in and waiting it out, wether it takes a few months or even years. 28 Days Later played with this idea quite well (too bad the sequel was stupid).

Yea surely Zombies would eventually starve to death, or eat each other until none remain.

But a nice, bleak ending would be that the zombies win and take over the world.

Zombies eat everyone who doesn't hide in complete seclusion. Those few survivors die and they too become zombies and Earth turns into Planet Zombie.

The end.

First off, " 28 Days Later " isn't a zombie movie, but I digress.

I want to see a movie where the human fight back. Send in some troops with high powered weapons like " Starship Troopers" or the Marines in " Aliens ", and wipe the Mofo's out. Do a airstrike on the area first, them come in with armored vehicles, and finally send in a clean up crew platoon to take care of the rest.

Yea I would like to see a proper zombie "war" movie. In different locations on the planet. Like in a city, the jungle, the desert, **** like that.

It wasn't suppose to make sense. It was suppose to be silly.

My ending would be that the remains of the government would round up the zombies that were left and lock them in "camps" which would be a collection of cells holding many zombies. There would be those groups that believe it's wrong to kill the zombies because they have hope that the zombies can eventually be made human again through science. It would be something the people would be split down the middle about....as other groups of survivors would be all for killing them.

From here, the government would secretly experiment on the zombies to learn the why's and how's of their existance.

Humanity would live on, but at great loss and would never exist the same as they had before.

Even if Zombies killed/ate every living thing on the planet, eventually they would still lose in the end.

A lot of you are forgetting that they are decomposing, although it might take a long time they will eventually rot away.

World War Z has aspects of that. It's a good book soon to be a movie they say. Patient Zero is also a good Zombie book from a military perspective.

my friend had that book, he said it was a really good read and yea i heard that it was going to be a movie, i only hope that it will be done correctly

the book for I am legend was a thought provoking ending to a zombie story other than that I liked shawn of the dead.

I think this was the idea in the original script George Romero wrote for " Day Of The Dead", where the remaining government were training Zombies as soldiers on a remote island. His budget didn't allow him to shoot it this way, so we got the version that we got.
