How can you back back far enough to find it? For me, it wasn't so long ago, but I've looked back and can't go back far enough.

If there isn't a way, could a Mod find it for me?

Thanks in advance.

That only shows 500 of the posts Cain

Yeah, that's what I did. How do you go back farther?

You can't, alot of the old pages been deleted or moved

In his case they wouldn't be deleted, but it's pretty hard to find something when the search engine limits your results, so 500 is the cap.

why don't you do a search for the thread it was in instead of looking for the individual post...

tally that up with a search for all the posts you made in that thread and it should make it specific enough to find it if you desire...

I have no clue as to what thread it was in. All I know is that it's somewhere deep in the bowels of the Spidey 3 forum. I already tried searching around there with no luck.

I figured it out. :woot:
Go to your cp and click all threads subscribed at the bottom and go to the last page.

that's not going to be accurate if your first post was in a thread that's been deleted or has continued to be bumped. Also, there was a period some time ago where everbody's subscribed threads list got cleared, so for older users this method won't be useful.

theshape hasn't been around for that long, it shouldn't have affected him...

although you do have a point with the bumping.

still though, looking through thread subscriptions is possibly the best way to go about things.

Seeking one's first post is folly.
Do not look back!
Drive ever onward, blazing new trails!
The past be damned!

My first post was telling people they're stupid for not believing my fake Spider-Man scoop that was posted on the front page.

My first was calling people "******s" for thinking that the Thing costume in the Fantastic Four movie looked "perfect", and then next I called people in Community "******s" for believing in Christianity.

Then Dew told me to stop calling people ******s or else, and I didn't know she was a mod or admin, so I told her to ****, and when about 15 posts of " Holy S***! BANNED " came in immediately, and I saw how everyone was referring to her as the "Empress", I realized that she must be some kind of lofty Hype-Matriarch...and I've meekly obeyed her ever since.

I don't fear Dew, and I don't understand why people call her an Empress. This is how I see her:

I wanna read the very first thing I wrote in these boards 5 years ago.

And then cry.

I forgot what my first post was

Probably something about how organics suck :csad::csad:

But what if your dog jumps out the window.
And is trying to run back to your car.
But because you're not looking back and just driving you'll never know. :csad:
