Is There Another Version Of You, Out There In A Parallel Universe?

And I wanted to find out what the Hype thinks about the Multi-verse theory. I for one believe in it. I also think there are in infinite number of parallel universes. Vote in the poll and share your thoughts on the possibility of other versions of you out there!

I've had that thought in my head every since I saw Sliders as a kid. I've always liked the idea that almost anything we do could be different and choices we and others make can have a fundamental difference in reality.

Besides, if there is then theoretically travel between them is possible and has already been done. So we could be seeing ourselves any time now.

We are all unique. Each one of us was put here to do something/anything. I just refuse to believe there's an alternate version of me somewhere else doing worse/better than me. Now even though I don't believe in parallel universe, I do believe we're not alone in this universe.

Somewhere out there... There's a me thats having super awesome out of this world adventures that I can only dream of. I'm jealous of that guy.

I'd love to be able to see what the different realities would be. Maybe there's a reality where the Grey Goo issue with sentient nanobots happened and the entire solar system is a Dyson sphere. Maybe they made some really good decisions and most of the stupid **** we did didn't happen so people are less likely to murder each other over religion, money or a pair of shoes.

Or maybe they just made some good Batman movies instead of Forever and B&R.

Maybe that is how death works, like if you die young/before your time in this world you simply wake up in a parallel universe with very vague memories of this existence & continue on or maybe there is simply nothing at all. Having a second chance in a parallel universe would probably be better than simply going to a heaven or a hell but eventually no matter what happens you would still have to meet your maker for better or worse.

I think things like heaven and hell are just parallel dimensions. I think when you die you travel to one of these other dimensions

There is only one plane of existence so no, there is not an alternate reality version of me. We have only one soul that cannot be split into two parts. We are who we are based on our choices and there is no other universe where we are different. We are all meant to be who we are now based on what we've gone through in life and that's it. There is only one me, one you, etc. there aren't different versions of anyone else anywhere. The only other plane of existence is where our nuclear particles go once we die and the soul leaves the body to join with the other subatomic particles.

I don't know, time is a funny mistress. Maybe the construct of time as humans conceived it somehow had a gravitational effect on space time itself, causing it to extrapolate itself.

Yes, I believe there are a multitude of parallel universes out there with distinct differences. I like to believe there are multiple versions of me...alternate universes where I may be completely different.

Hell, there could even be an alternate universe where I'm dead. How's that for a trippy thought?

I like to believe that parallel worlds exist. I like to believe that things like Nessie, Bigfoot, Leprechauns and other "imaginary" things exist. I also entertain the idea of superpowers becoming a thing someday.
Anything to make life more interesting. Reality as it is now is a bore.
