Is there any crime worse than rape?

I'd have to go with murder. After all, you ARE still alive with a chance for a happy productive life ahead of you. Thankfully, never experienced either though.

 

This is in a case by case scenario

a 15 yr old having sex with an 18 year might not be so bad even though it may be considered statutary (sp?) rape, incomparison to someone going into a school and mowing down plenty of peeps.

I personally feel that any crime commited towards the elderly is high on my list. They've lived their lives and deserve to piss their pants till they die, in peace.

 

I think rape is horrible. As a man, being raped, lets say in prison would be the worst thing imaginable. Especially in an area of my body not designed for penetration.

I'd much rather be dead, than psychologically f'ed up for the rest of my life.

 

I don't really have any plans to get into pedophilia, but whatever floats your boat, man.

 

A man puts his thing in a woman from behind. That's just as much designed for penetration as a man. A woman just has more options available for penetration.

Rape is bad, but is it the worst thing? Not in my opinion.

Cannibalism is worse. I think murder is bad, and so is pedophilia.

 

There are crimes against individuals, crimes against nations, crimes against races.

against individuals, it's probably in the top 5 but when looking at crimes against nations and a religious sector, then i don't rate it as highly.

 

I'd say murder is probably worse. As long as you are alive there is still hope that you can move on and continue with a happy life.

I think the way your looking at this really depends on the victim of the crime. Some people are raped and are never able to lead a normal life again, while others are able to move past it and become stronger. As far as the act itself, it is quite possible the cruelest form of torture there is. It can leave scars far worse than physical mutilation, but again, a lot depends on how the victim handles it. As for the offender, castration with sandpaper.

 

Crime towards children is on the top of my list.

Rape is high up there as well but it is in varying degrees. The 15 yr old guy who sleeps with his 28 yr old teacher does not constitute rape in my book.

 

I think the worst thing would be to be mudered by a necrophiliac and then they rape your corpse.

 

Depends. I don't acknowledged the current age limit on statutory rape. Once she's 15 she knows what she's doing.

But if we're talking rape as in forced sex, then it's sort of different. I think most murderers don't deserve to live. I think All rapist deserve castration and lost of limbs or death. But with murder it all depends on the situation. Generally, however, I'll say murder is worse since the victim doesn't get a chance to live on. But both are still really hard to judge over another in my book.

 

i would say raping a kid has to be the worst thing , its in no way forgivable . at least some people kill for different reasons , like shooting the abusive husband .

There are other crimes worse than rape that haven't been listed (give examples)

Any other crime that hurts multiple people or does considerable damage to the mind or body.

 

Some people consider rape/torture extremely close to death, as if you're suffering, some people never recover and at times wish to be dead to end it.

 

Murder/multiple murders are worse and I'd say torture is also worse depending on the circumstances.

That piece of wisdom aside, surgicial abuse of someone is quite horrific, pure disfigurement and dissection of a living person. Effectively torture. There was a story in the nineties about someone who had their entire skin removed. That is pretty bad.

 

I think that was the next to last season of Buffy. Dark Willow, I believe.

 

There's a guy at the prison where I worked who molested 2 little girls and was place in general population. The other inmates found out about it and gave him a taste of his medicine by seeing just how far a man's behind can stretch. They placed a bar of soap, roll of deodorant and a few pencils back there at the same time! The inmates have now been charged as he has snitched on them and now is in protective custody at another prison but dude has a psych seeing him daily due to the emotional distress he went through.

 

Talk about having something up your ass.

 

I would rather be raped than murdered......so I cant honestly agree that rape is the worst crime in the world. Family, support groups, professionals can all help a person cope through the trauma inflicted by being raped....

family, support groups, professionals cant help you if you're dead. they cant raise you from the grave. haha.
