In the new trailer; which looked really good BTW; Wolve gets shot in the Face... which was totally awesome. However, there is no bullet wound on his face which is leading me to believe that hes going to do the old "spit the bullet out of my mouth" trick. I'm sorry, but if hes catching bullets with his teeth, its corny.

The bullet will be lodged in his head. It's in the French version of the trailer.

Sorry I don't have a direct link, it's in the "Teaser Trailer Discussion Thread" that's stickied above, I would guesstimate about five/six pages back.

EDIT: Or, it's y'know, two posts up.

Careful. The FCC thinks viewing that may scar you for life.

That's ridiculous.

When i jumped from my window to mimic Superman's flying, i didn't got hurt until i hit the ground! :o

So how come in X 2 the bullet to the cranium KO's Wolverine momentarily, but in this one...he is A OK? Pure rage and adrenalin, vs a calm state...

probably...there I answered the stupid question before anyone else asked.

Why wouldn't that be in the US trailer?

That and he was shot at pretty close point blank in X2. A different angle of projection too. The bullet looks like it just ricocheted off him, in the trailer.

When you see that green strip in front of every US trailer, it says it right there. The MPAA has rights to make sure that the trailer is acceptable for viewing for all audiences, even kids.

I guess that bullet shot was a violation of their standards. I think it's BS, really. I've seen WAY more graphic things in movie trailers.

It's possible that the French trailer was an earlier edit and the producers took it out because if you see, the effects of the bullet clashing with the metal looks..a little unfinished and it's possible that for the wide release of the trailer, they didn't want that shot to look too sloppy.

I got goosebumps from that scene. That may the most bad ass scene in the trailer. And there are a lot of them.

thank you, please tell me thats going to be in the American Version of the movie...
Yes. They probrably edited because the trailer will be in PG-13 movies and, according to MPAA, see a bullet in a indestructible man's forehead will scar the young wiewners for a life, making them because thives, murderers and sadistic madmen.

The bullet in the trailer is a ricochet. That exposed metal area is his skull(showing that his bones are now laced). In x-2 he takes the bullet straight to the head and it gets lodged in the tissue. The force puts wolverine down for a bit(his brain rattled from the force).

You didn't think he was actually doing that BS, did you?
Besides, super-reflexes isn't one of his powers.

Wow that wasn't graphic at all. There wasn't even blood. MPAA sucks.

Because the writers read a few comics between flicks and realized Wolverine being KOed by a single bullet to the dome looks pretty stupid when he's shrugging off shots from the Hulk.

??? Where have you been? Enhanced Reflexes/Speed has always been a part of Wolverine's powerset. You've never seen him dodge bullets before? To insinuate such a feat is beyond him would be false.

I dont understand why the American trailer doesn't have the bullet wound? It's no worse than stuff you see on the network TV Terminator show blood/violence wise. Stupid MPAA.

Of course Wolveirne can't catch a bullet with his teeth, he's not Batman. :o :oldrazz:
