There are just too many factors at work giving me trepidation about this that I've lost count at this point. But yes, I guess Goyer not being the sole writer anymore does qualify as "joyous news" for me. :oldrazz:
:woot: I knew it. Join the love wave, Flick. JOIN IT!!!!

i know scripts are always being tinkered with even after they start filming, but i just wonder what they're trying to make this movie into by hiring the argo guy.

WB thanks you.
rather they "salute you"
I'm sure they were just waiting on pins and needles for my reaction, right? ;)

My thought is better dialogue. I know a lot of folks don't like Goyer for other reasons, but for me this is what I consider to be his biggest failing with MOS. It's not terrible dialogue. Not by any stretch, but it could have been improved. I believe this is what this guy is here for. Argo was a talking film that was slick with its dialogue, so I can see him being there for that and to polish other areas.

A good movie

Considering alot of folks(the devin faraci and mark waids even) are more torn over the 'nolanization' of the dcu. I wonder if this is a step in the right direction in their eyes.
The argo guy, coming on to Superman.
Their prayers have been answered.

Anyone not totally in love with this idea?

Anyone not totally in love with Argo?

I thought Argo was absolutely horrid, a B movie with cheap thrills. And I thought the script and direction were specially poor. The climax was a giant eye rool and disgustingly "Hollywood".

Awesome news. I speculated a few months back it'd happen, and it turns out they did. I think Affleck and Snyder will let Terrio do his thing without too many notes...

so harilous. :D

btw, i think this is alway a good idea. u can hear and see different views and perspectives... it will only make the script more polished and well done.
