"It's a serious crime and there's no doubt it's very disappointing - I was heartbroken by it,"

"Obviously people are seeing an unfinished film. It's like a Ferrari without a paint job."

"The FBI are onto it and they're taking it very very seriously,"

"Rest assured that person will be found."

I'm with Jackman 100%.

the film is unpolished, unfinished and simply unjudgeable at this point.

truly valid opinions on the film will come on May 1st

Funny. That's the same thing I said when I found out Gambit wasn't gonna be in X-Men 1, 2, or 3!!!

All kidding aside. The man has put a lot of work into this franchise. I saw it but Hugh will still get my money. I just looked at it like a really long trailer.

HA! I agree with this post 6847%

And I wouldn't call the leak unjudgable. It IS at the very least, the core foundation of what we are getting in a month.

Yes, effects will be fixed, the real score added, and (hopefully) some additional footage to help bring it all together.

But the movie is, for all intents and purposes, what we will be getting in just under a month.

I knew you would Nell, I knew you would.

I think I was about ready to tear the roof off of this place when I found out that Gambit wasn't going to be in X-Men 3. I remember a huge old rant I went on against Kitty Pryde. Made a lot of X-Men fans mad, haha.

A Ferrari though, still drives well and fast enough without the paintjob. I don't see a final paintjob helping much here.

Oh we all remember. I was a only noob then, but I totally agreed with you.

It's the equivalent of using beta software that will be pushed out the door with a quick fix to make it seem usable but it still has plenty of bugs; only a movie can't be patched after release (well, unless you count the DVD).

When you've already seen what she looks like naked, it doesn't matter how she looks fully dressed and made up.

I'm glad to hear him speak on the leak, and I'm still gonna be walking into the movie excited like I originally was. I feel pretty bad for him that this had to happen, if any of these X-Men movies are gonna need to get better, it won't be from watching a illegally distributed workprint of a film, it'll be after the film's release when we can all gather on these boards and talk about our gripes with the film :hehe:

They've gotten your money already for 3 (soon to be 4) films; if you keep giving them your money then why would they ever bother to do more than the bare minimum?

Beeecccaaauuseee... I the 4 film theory may be in effect here?

:hehe:

What is the 4 film theory?

Beeecccaaauuseee... I believe in the 4 film theory?

If you want to keep giving film companies your hard-earned cash for churning out mediocre comic-based movies then be my guest, just don't expect them to dramatically improve in quality if you keep settling for what they're giving you.

The time of having to pay for mediocre comic book movies to prove that they are a viable (profitable) genre is over: last year proved without a shadow of a doubt that films based on comic book properties that are handled with effort, talent, and passion can and will succeed. We need to stop settling for lazy adaptations and the only way to do that is with your voices AND your wallets.

What is the 4 film theory?
There's a history of series of 4 films with the same pattern of quality. Not always, but it's a funny little fact. First 2 are decent, third is quite a step off course, then the 4th is horrible. Then after that, some changes are made and we get better films. Batman & Superman are the biggest ones to go through this. It's just my way of saying, ''don't keep thinking Fox is gonna keep making s****y movies with so much talent on screen. Sooner or later they're gonna have to make some changes" This movie may be just that, who knows?

he should be just quiet because this example is IMO not that great.
yes the CGI was not finished. but people have a problem with wolverines story.

So because I downloaded a leaked workprint of a film online means that I shouldn't pay to go see it in theaters? If there is any true way of me to be disappointed I'll do it when I get home from the movies next month. I've gotten over the fact that this movie is pretty mediocre and weak. I really don't see X-Men films getting any worse than what the workprint (at least) looked like. It's not like I really thought the workprint was the most horrible comic book movie I'd ever seen anyways, it's just it could've been alot better. Like alot better. The only way to go from here is up in my opinion, and I think the fans and critics will let Fox know that.

Dude, this is not going to work. People here are still going to pay for this POS movie.
Don't waste your time.

A Ferrari though, still drives well and fast enough without the paintjob. I don't see a final paintjob helping much here.

My husband is considering buying a Ferrari 430 that's caught his eye and I seriously doubt he'd want one that wasn't painted. :yay:

Doesn't change the fact that the car would probably still drive like a dream even without the paintjob.

This movie isn't just a Ferrari without a paintjob though. It needs an entire new engine.

These silly analogies have got to stop.
None of them work and none of them change the fact that this is a bad movie.

All the finsihsed cg in the world, and an original score can't change the fact that Wolverine came off like a goodey too shoes in this film.......

I still remember fondly the first time we see Wolverine in X1 during the cage match. That roughness and edginess he had and the alpha male attitude throughout the movie.
