"Pumpkin riot" photos lead to first arrest

KEENE, N.H. - Police in Keene, N.H. have made the first arrest as a result of asking the public for photos of the violent disturbances that erupted during a family-friendly pumpkin festival last weekend.Police say 19-year-old Jacob Clark of Chichester threw a beer bottle at a police officer. He was charged Thursday with a felony count of reckless conduct. He was released on $500 bail and is due back in court Nov. 6.
More than 80 people were arrested Saturday after parties got out of hand, leading to property destruction and injuries. Police in riot gear used tear gas and pepper balls to control crowds as large as 2,000 people.
Police are using social media and asking people to share photos and videos of suspected rioters.

Drunken rioters ravaged a pumpkin festival in Keene, NH on Saturday, overturning cars and causing severe property damage. RT’s Manila Chan takes a look at the differences in both the police response and media coverage with Firedoglake’s Kevin Gosztola.

I'm so happy to hear millionaire mommy was ready with the five franklins to bail out the poor, little trust-fund baby who was merely having some fun with his college chums throwing glass bottles at the inferior peons. :o

Ugh, disgusting….

Heh, no doubt sir, but when I first saw footage of this I was like, "what the **** man?" That's what I am still kinda wondering.

Idiots and alcohol are a deadly combination.

It's more than that. It's the entitled upper-crust thinking they can treat others with contempt like they're not even human. The fact they're young and have had no real hard experiences growing up in wealthy households adds to this sense of arrogance and lack of empathy.
