I guess the guy that owns the YouTube Chanel feels resentful against DC for something. Nolan always puts everything into each of his Batman movies, he never really had any plans for sequels. So I don't understand the big deal. I see 98 percent of the comments are pessimistic or anti DC. They keep praising Marval, like if they never made bad movies before... It's a lot a damn whining and *****ing about a movie that is not coming out in 2 freaking years. I don't understand. Is Hating on DC a cool thing to do now?

I know your username is "badgrammar", but is there a reason why you keep on spelling Marvel as "Marval"? Is that your shtick?
 
I'm in the uncool crowd, as I love DC and Marvel. The binary thinking that dominates the comic culture is frustrating.
 
I'm a fan of DC, Marvel, Vertigo, Darkhorse and 2000ad. I don't care whether it's cool at the moment or popular.

But guys seriously, am I the only one thAt notices all of the DC hating?
 
I find it annoying that with all of the DC vs Marvel arguments, the fans only seem to argue on the subject of the movies instead of comics. as if the only business that these to companies are in has to do with only movies.
 
hate is seriously way too strong a word.

I love Marvel. I like DC a lot.
 
Why do we need a thread for a couple morons on youtube?

The title of the thread implies somebody did some research on the tastes of 16 year olds. All we got was a link to some youtube troll.
 
I'd say it's a trend to hate Marvel OR DC and side with only one publisher.

Why do they feel the need to defend DC or Marvel? Because they chose to invest their time and money in one publisher and now have to justify the time and effort expended?

DC and Marvel don't make the movies. They don't even make the comics. They just publish them.

Grant Morrison, Jeph Loeb, Frank Miller, Jack Kirby, Garth Ennis, Alan Moore, Joe Kelly, John Byrne, Denny O'Neil.... even Stan Lee.

These men have worked for both companies at one point or another. They've created great works using the characters owned by both publishers.

There is no fanboy war. That's just narrow sighted rubbish perpetrated by a vocal minority and by children who most of the time have barely picked up a comic.

Read DC

Read Marvel

Enjoy both. They've both put good comics, films and movies out and they've both put bad stuff out. Trick is to enjoy the good stuff regardless of PUBLISHER.
