WHAT’S REAL – AND WHAT’S FANTASY — When someone close to Major (Robert Buckley) dies of an apparent suicide, Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brains resulting in a mix of reality and paranoia. Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) questions Major and learns of a secret computer file that may contain important details in the investigation – and finding the killer. David Anders and Rahul Kohli also star. Michael Fields directed the episode written by Kit Boss (#111).

Another great episode. I like how they played the hallucinations for comic relief early on; it made the impact of the serious hallucinactions much bigger and more unexpected.

Was she dreaming when she confessed to major or hallucinating?

The fact that most of Liv's interactions with Major last night turned out to be imaginary really annoyed me and pretty much ruined the episode, which is a shame because I had really been enjoying it up to the point where the writers pulled their big 'twist', which came across as a cheap stunt.

"Astroburger" may be the only episode of the series that I skip in subsequent viewings, and in a season that only has 13 episodes and does contain some pretty salient information as far as the show's overall plot is concerned, that's not a good thing.

I was so sad when the confession turned out to be fake. I was happy that there wasn't any drama between her and Major over it, and then reality hit....go figure.

I figured the confession was going to be fake somehow mainly because it was too soon and (more importantly) too calm from Major's side. How would you react to a zombie were you to find out they were real, eating people's brains, and tormenting you?
