RIP Jack Palance

Palance died of natural causes at his home in Montecito, Calif., surrounded by family, said spokesman Dick Guttman. Palance was 85 according to Associated Press records. The family indicated he was 87.

I'm sure all the other Bat fans know that Palance played Carl Grissom in Batman (1989). Some of Palance's other popular movies include City Slickers, Shane, and Young Guns

Wasn't he in Cops & Robbersons too? That's a shame to hear :(

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

RIP

BTW: I've never understood why they used Carl Grissom instead of Rupert Thorne.

Thats really sad, just heard it on BBC News in the Uk. I've not really seen him in much, Pretty much just Batman, But he was great in that.

R.I.P. Jack, you'll be missed.

My Mother just told me. Good bye Carl Grissom.

Rest in Peace Jack. He was a true Man's Man. :csad:

A truly amazing talent has left us. R.I.P. Mr. Palance, you were one of the best.

My brother told me last night, it's a shame, but he had a good innings. RIP Jack.

I saw it on CNN last night. So sad, but atleast he died naturally so he went out in peace, and knowing that he had a lustrious career and many great films gives me satifaction. R.I.P. Jack.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Palance.

He was an actor who played in many different roles, but the one I will always think of when thinking of Jack is definately his role as Boss Carl Grissom in Burton's Batman.

Godspeed.
