This looks like a potential Oscar countender from what I see and hear. The film will be released in the Awards season (october 2011).

Could we see Jackie with Oscar nom? The film surely will be a potential Foreign Language oscar countender.

Nice posters. Definitely got me interested.

I would love to see Jackie bring home an Oscar, but it'll never happen because Hollywood is full of snobs who would never give an award to someone known for action films even if they deserved the award. They'd probably give an award to Pee-Wee Herman first. I dunno. Maybe I'm being too cynical. I hope Jackie does well.

Already on my must-see list. Jackie Chan is an incredibly gifted actor, and I hope this is his chance to show Hollywood that he can do more than simple-minded family movies.

Just curious... but can someone direct me to a movie where Jackie has done some real acting before?

I'm not saying he can't act... but all I've seen are his action movies and a few of his comedies, and let's just say I was less than impressed with his acting abilty. The stunts, of course, were amazing, but I'm just curious if any of you can recommend some films that he's done that required him to really act and not just fight and be a little goofy.

Wow, finally a movie I think he could be awesome in.

Awesome. Definitely going to be checking this out.

Karate Kid

I know, that a lot of people don't like the movie, but he made quite the good preformance there.

What's the difference between a General Director and a Director?

I haven't seen Jackie in a good film for a while. I actually quite like him as an actor.
