Is there a thread for this? I saw it in an indie theater in DC and absolutely loved it. It's dark, violent, sweet, subversive, and hilarious. It's somewhere between Taxi Driver, Toxic Avenger, and Napoleon Dynamite.

Seems like a rip-off of Kick-Ass to me.

I've heard its quite different. Kick Ass started off in a certain place but then went a completely different direction in the end. This continues on the same path it starts on taking it to somewhat disturbing extents. I've heard its quite good. Also, Kick Ass doesnt have corner on the "What if real people put on masks?" market.:oldrazz:

Originally, I thought this looked stupid, but I've heard nothing but good things about it since it's started screening. I can't wait to see it now.

I really want to see this for 3 reasons:

1. James Gunn directed Slither...which is freaking hilarious and awesome
2. It's superhero/comic book inspired and looks hilarious
3. Nathan Fillion (Firefly/Serenity, Slither, Castle, etc.) is in it and he rules
