Well, he does show that he knows Dragonball. A few discrepancies here and there..

According to many others he's great yet underused as well.. I think he should have opened his mouth a lot more than he did. It might have brought the quality level up a bit. A good portion of the fan part on the second page sounds like filler he might have been told to say, though...

i think james knows a lot about DB. but what he said about spiderman was wrong.

He is right in saying the fans expect DBZ kind of fights, and many have just watched dbz and not DB, were the language is more cheessy and campy.

people expected martial arts. people are expecting piccolo and goku using their hands and legs to fight.

the fight Piccolo vs Goku in the 3 tournament is brutal and high speed kick and punchs, the bootleg version didnt show that, i agree with you.

Hmmm, I like how he understands that most people are more familiar with DBZ than the more reserved db. Though really kids today have the entire series on their computer so it doesn't matter anymore.

I like that they wanted to start with DB first so the audience gets to know the characters better before they start to turn landscape into ashes.

I always like how Marsters brings up these things that were never mentioned in the films. Piccolo wanted the Dragon Balls to become young? When was this? Where was the Shakespearean aspects of the character that he was talking about?

I often wonder if Marsters even remembers what he was filiming. The fact that he hyped up his role despite the fact Piccolo barely did anything in the film made me trust him less.

once again peopel showed last year that fans are still naive. one actor tells you something that you want to hear(even if it was not right) and you are all jumping.

from the interview he knows a lot of DB and DBZ. but it doesnt matter when Chatwing has lines like this:
- i am goku...i am oozaru
-dragonnnnnnnnnnn

it doesnt matter because piccolo is just standing through the movie on hes spaceship and on the ground and picking up dragonballs. there was no purpose for MAI in the movie. piccolo could do all this by himself.
