January Jungle Lounge- Part 39

I'll be at home, probably playing Skyrim. Don't really have anywhere to go or be, because I pretty much pushed all the people away who even care about me. At least 2013 can't possibly suck any more.

*5 minutes into 2013, Skyrim stops working*

Oh, 2012 wasn't void of Skyrim crashes, bugs and glitches.

Pretty please use my name this time

I'm not one for New Year resolutions, thoughts change every now and then

January Jungle Lounge?

Last year I made the New Years resolution to watch more movies (I already was watching a lot, but I had a stack of unwatched DVDs that was getting enormous) and with today being the last day of the year, I have watched so far 486 movies.

I've thrown a Halloween party every year for the past 6 years and a New Years party every year for the past 4 or 5 . This year we are working on getting out of debt so we (unfortunately) chose to move in with Mom to A) save money and pay bills, and B) help her with her bills. So we're broke and sharing the place and my mom works in the morning, therefore, we've decided that someone else can throw the party this year.

As of last night, no one made any plans and I just shake my head at my friends. They are the most unmotivated, lazy people sometimes. So I ended up calling my one friend and asked what he was up to. He invited us over to continue our Walking Dead marethon (we're 6 episodes into season 2) until the New Years hits.

While I look forward to that, I was a little disappointed. We have a lot of friends who can never get together save on occassions like this but that isn't happening this year. Oh well, maybe it'll get them motivated to start planning their own things... the bums!

I've only managed to keep one New Years resolution, and it was the most unlikely one. Odd. But besides that, I never really make resolutions.

Got invited to a New Years Party tonight, but I was informed it was kid friendly. Which means the 2 or 3 friends I have that have children are going to have their kids there and I want no part of that. Looks like I'll be spending New Years Eve watching movies at home.

I'll be going to my friends place for a little get together. Naturally, shenanigans will ensue.

Oh-ee-oh-ee-oh

My resolution is to work much much harder this year, and stay of the Hype much much more. I've already started with the Hype resolution, now onto my work habits.

Do you watch 10 at a time or something? :woot: That's probably more than some people have watched in their life!

I'm going to a friend of family party. Better than being stuck at home...kind of.

It would be great if we could all just celebrate together.

I managed at least one per day....but there were days when I could get in 3 or 4. It added up.

I estimate I had already watched a couple thousand of movies in my life (I'm ancient remember)....but I really tried to watch a lot this year.

What I find to be even more amazing is how you kept count of all the movies you saw.

That just makes it sound like you're hitting on us.

It's not that hard. You watch a movie, you write it down, repeat.

In any case, I'm currently on a train bound for New York. I have a 100 dollar concert to go see and a 600 dollar hotel room to sleep in.

Over 365 days... it's a bit harder :o

I'll try counting every single film I see (theater and at home) next year, I probably won't get far since I'm so lazy but I might as well try.
