Umm do you realise that tha Alexander's army was not that big when they fought the Persians at Issus: Less then 50,000, yet they overwhelmed the Persians using superiour tactics and weaponry (6 meter long spears).

The Japanese in the middle ages were in constant war due to different factions fighting for the role of Shogun. They lived and breathed battle. Plus their weapons were more evolved and their tactics as well.

The Japanese should take it given you have given them superiour forces and all elite troops where you are talking about an army of the masses for laexander with an elite core.
