Do Japanese television show whether they be anime or live action have anything that aproximates to a TV season like in the U.S.? do they have new shows that start up in the Fall?
November sweeps? February sweeps? May sweeps? do they even have a place for syndicated shows? reruns?
The reason I ask is because I was checking the original airdates for Dragonball/Z/GT and they aired a new episode weekly all year round for it's entire run which must've been torture for the fans waiting months to see endless fights.
