Was that it? I'm talking Jokers first line, not Napiers.

That was a great intro. Jack's Joker was definitely scary in that scene, the way he starts out in the shadows and you can just about make out his face.

Yes, Dick Grayson turned out to be a kind of genetically enhanced super-sadistic Joker. There are many ****** ideas floating around in comics and among the fanbase they attract, but it takes a truly **** idea to be endorsed by Frank Miller.

Yeah that's it. I have actively avoided reading TDKSA because word of mouth about it is so bad. I don't think I've ever seen a Batman fan say a good word about it. That's saying something considering I've seen fans who like Batman and Robin.

You don't even need word of mouth. Take one look at the artwork in that book and try to not throw up in your mouth.

It is shocking when you reflect on how poor the story and dialogue is, and how much the inker and colorist had to do to make Miller's pencils look slightly less terrible.

Still on the fence about Leto as the Joker. The trailer sold me on everything else, though.

Sad that I'm not sure if I like the Joker here & the Joker is always supposed to be the selling point of whatever he's in.
