Jason Stathem and his films suck!

Jason "The Transporter" Strathem IMO is a bad actor, and chooses his movies badly. Yet he has a cult following, I don't get why people compare this guy to real action stars like Jet Li or Bruce willis. JS just starred in an Uwe Boll Movie[WHY?!} LOL, and ofcourse it sucked. All his movies have great action but sad and pathetic stories, filled with bad actors.

No he just makes paycheck movies, guy needs to make money. He cant always make revolver like films or snatch like films.

I thought he was good in Snatch , London , Bank Job but finds himself typecast in action films .
It's diifcult in that genre to tell if the film will work or not . I didnt like Transporter but those films seemed to do well enough for them to make sequels . I would like to seem him do another transporter type of role but for the material to be better.

Wow your so wrong. The Transporter, Snatch, Crank. Awesome movies. Yeah he's had some bad ones like War, and transporter 2. But transporter 3 and death race look neat.

I think the Guy Ritchie movies (Lock Stock, Snatch, Revolver) are grossly overrated and I really don't get the appeal of Statham as this cult "all time bad-@ss", but in a twisted way, I enjoyed Crank as the ridiculous, over-the-top trash b-movie it was.

That said, I'd never watch a movie just because or mainly because Jason Statham was in it...

Statham is a good actor. In order to be a successful actor, you must be believable, and he is that. A bad film does not reflect a bad actor. Even the greatest actors of all-time have starred in a horrible film in their career.

I don't get why people compare this guy to real action stars like Jet Li or Bruce willis.

Because the majority of his films are action films.

He isnt the best actor in the world but then again he isnt the worst, all of his films i have enjoyed watching (apart from revolver but that was to do with the story not him)

Snatch - funny as hell
Crack - ****ing awesome ride
Transporter - amazing action flick

In a short space of time from working on a market stall in london to becoming one of the coolest modern action stars id say hes done a great job for himself

Ok that Movie I agree it sucks and I haven't even seen it because all of Uwe Boll Movies suck how the hell does he get pretty good actors to be in his movies is beyond me.

As for his other movies Transporter I thought was great what was so bad about it?

I agree that all of the movies he's been in that arent directed by Guy Pearce are terrible. The guy is more wooden than Vin Diesel most of the time, and the roles he chooses are just terrible.

I think that people look at Statham and make their own opinions. Personally, I think he makes the right choices in his movies and all of them are pretty good. Sometimes, he might not be in the greatest movies but that certainly doesn't make him suck.

Jason is the man. I had a conversation once explaining, if a new movie about Jesus is made, Stathem should play Jesus, but he kicks ass. He has to have his british accent too.

He isn't too bad of an actor. He'll never be Tom Hanks, but I'm still entertained by films such as Crank and Transporter.
