This film is going to play so well. It's also the type of film that will garner a lot of awards attention. Ruth Negga for Best Actress?

It looks really good and has gotten Negga some rave reviews (Edgerton looks great as well) already.

Richard and Mildred Loving were married in June of 1958. As a result, authorities broke into their home, arrested them, and they were sentenced to a year in the state penitentiary. This sentence was suspended on the condition that they be exiled from the state of Virginia. Richard and Mildred would spend the next nine years fighting to get home. All of this, because Richard was a white man and Mildred a black woman. LOVING is a story about marrying the one you want and finding the one you need.

I was wondering when this would be posted. Thanks Kv!Reviews are really good for this from Cannes and it will definitely be an awards player especially this year. Nagga is probably the early front runner at the moment for BA.

Lovely first trailer.

The trailer gives me a Brokeback Mountain vibe. Maybe that was the intent.

Kinda weird to see Nick Kroll in a serious drama, but I'm sure he will surprise me.

This is going to be gooood. :hmr:

Every summer when I get discouraged by all the blockbuster schlock and I say, "When is Hollywood going to make REAL movies again?", a trailer like this comes along and shuts me right up.

Cool to finally get a trailer for this.

After seeing Preacher, I'll watch Ruth Negga in anything (yes, even Warcraft).

Thank you for posting this! I admit bias because I love Jeff Nichols and Michael Shannon, but it looks great and I can't wait to see it :yay:

You love Michael Shannon?

I know, it must be a massive surprise as I've never done anything ridiculous like shoehorning him into every other comment I make, or resurrecting an ancient thread in the BvS forum just to talk to myself about him :oldrazz:

I was very impressed with Edgerton in Midnight Special. Trailer looks great.
