One would think shooting would begin shortly if they're casting parts. There's a film that's been flying well under the radar.

I've mentioned a few times lately how this could shoot this year for release in 2010 (I mentioned The Losers in the DC Films Rundown thread, for example). Looks like that's going to be the case. So there may well be three DC/Vertigo films in 2010: Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, and The Losers.

the thing with Sylvain White is that, despite making those lame movies, he came from Propaganda Films, which employed the likes of Zach Snyder, Spike Jonez and Michel Gondry. I mean, I'm sure White is talented but he's having a hard time getting his first break.

I'm glad that they're finding stuff that doesn't require $150 million and a ton of special effects to make. Historically, non-superhero material is one of DC's strengths and a lot of that is rich material for film.

Nothing against white, I just like Berg and I think he shows a lot of potential but also room for growth and Losers sounded like a good concept to get himself REALLY going.

Berg is probably looking to focus on big budget projects at this stage, especially after the success of Hancock. The Losers will be a mid-level budget film.

Jeremy Renner said he might be in The Losers and it might be the film he shoots next. It was that story that was the first tip-off that The Losers was casting and was going to be made this year. But I don't think there's been further confirmation that Renner is definitely in it.

Commercial, music videos and "Stomp the yard". But he's a comic-book reader and he's still supposed to direct a Ronin movie based on Frank Miller's GN.
