I remember that one episode of the Simpsons where Homer was watching a public television marathon of some made-up British TV show called "Do Shut Up." There was a host who came on to explain that it was one of the UK's most beloved TV shows, making it their longest-running program. "And we're here to bring you all 6 episodes."
Part of me is sad to see Jekyll end after only 6 episodes, but another part of me is glad this thing didn't drag out into 10 years of mediocrity. You win some...
Loved the conclusion. Loved the open-ended bits. Love how they resolved Jackman and Hyde's partnership, and the flirting between Claire & Hyde was pretty damn fun. I just have one major complaint (which is probably just something I missed)...
Claire Jackman. Tom's wife. She's the clone of the original Jekyll's maid. The maid's "touch" (see also: hot monkey lovin') was what drove Jekyll into becoming Hyde, right? That's why she was cloned into Claire; because they needed her to hook up with Tom and send him into Hyde-mode. Okay, fine. One problem.
Nobody knew it was her! The only people who knew it was the maid were Jekyll, Hyde, the maid herself, and the author of the book. As far as I know, they all took it to their graves. Modern-day Hyde even confirmed this while talking to Peter. That company spent many years and lots of money trying to recreate Jekyll's formula, only to end up with several dead test subjects and a basement full of half-assed clones. They didn't know it was the girl. So how did they know to clone her?
