Supergirl Jenna Dewan-Tatum is Lucy Lane

I guess thats ok.

I've been waiting for her to be on a show I watch or will watch in this case.

It's too bad Lucy Lane was never on STAS, because Jenna looks like she could've been drawn by Bruce Timm.

I wonder what route they will take with the character besides having her be a potential ex-girlfriend to James.

TV Line brought up her being Superwoman at one point in the comics.

Yeah she was Superwoman and villain to Supergirl, though I don't know if they will have this version work for the government like she did in the comics.

Don't know that actress but she looks pretty.

This adds to the if you'll pardon the expression eye candy for us guys.

Melissa (It goes without saying she is cute, sexy, lovable and adorable. :ilv: Still love that ice cream pic :hrt: :hrt:. She is my first true TV crush.)

Chyler (sexy sister who can kick just as much you-know-what as Kara)

Laura Benanti (gorgeous Kryptonian mother Alura. If you've seen pics or videos of her she is quite the looker :cwink:)

And now Jenna Dewan Tatum...another stunner.

With all due respect to that OTHER comic book company, this is our Fantastic Four

Have not left out Helen Slater, who still looks beautiful even 31 years after playing Supergirl on the big screen.

Never seen her in anything but it will be interesting to see what wrong she is looking to right and where it might lead the character, especially with the potential for her to become a nemesis for Kara.

I wonder if they'll play Lucy Lane as a hero or a villain? Adapting the "Who is Superwoman" arc or something like that. It could be kind of cool if she's pretending to be a "hero" only to reveal her true intentions later on.

Oh and Channing Tatum is a lucky man.

Oh and in the talent department, at least according to JDT (my nickname for her)'s Twitter...she loves to dance.

So now let's see...

Singers
Melissa Benoist
Chyler Leigh
Jeremy Jordan
David Harewood
Laura Benanti

Rap/Hip Hop
Mechad Brooks

Singer/musician
Helen Slater

Dancer
Jenna Dewan Tatum

Quite the talents out there, eh?

Can't wait to see if she play a friend or an enemy (Superwoman?)

Dang, if she's cast as Lois' younger sister, how old is Lois supposed to be in this universe?. I would have expected an actress closer to Melissa's age

Why?

Who says that Lucy has to be significantly younger than Lois?

Having the character be close in age to Jimmy makes perfect sense given that they're former love-interests, and also offers up the potential for parallels between the relationship between the two Lane sisters (should we ever actually get to see Lois) and Alex and Kara.

It also dovetails nicely with the idea that Clark is in his mid-30s as of the present-day events of the series (something that was hinted at in the audition sides for the show).

You are looking at it completely different than me. To me this says that Lois is significantly older than I imagined her to be. If Lucy was mid 20s, then Lois would likely be late 20s. This casting of Lucy places Lois closer to a decade older than I envisioned her in my head, if and when they ever get to her

I just read that the other day....that would definitely be interesting if they went that direction. AND, with Kara's "Supergir/Superwoman rant having someone pretending to be a hero under the name of Superwoman could bring some great comedic moments as well.

:atp:

Sad to see she'll never be Starfire but happy to see her joining this show.

There's no way that your age scenario for Lucy and Lois could've worked given what we know about the series' timeline. Even if we never see him, we know that Clark is in his mid-30s when the series begins, being a "few years older" than James; unless Lois were a prodigy, she by necessity has to be around the same age as Clark simply because of logistics, and the fact that Lucy and James have a past connection to one another likewise necessitates that they be around the same age as each other too.

Lois typically is a couple of years younger than Clark except when a writer wants Kent to be a newbie journalist while Lois is a veteran reporter. And even that has a work around if Clark was traveling around the world first.

Most actresses in the role were about 30 when their work hit the screen, though Phyllis Coates and Kate Boswell were 23 in 1951 and 2006 respectively.

Ironically, she started out as the younger sister to Lucille, who served to let Lois deal with her niece Suzy. In the 60s Lucille became Lucy a younger sisyer andn airline stewardess and love interest to Jimmy Olsen.

For this I'd probably have her no more than a year older than Supergirl. If it matters Lois is 8 or 9 years older.

Well, in this Superman is around 35, Lois could be the same age...Lucy around 30. I don't see a problem with that at all.

Not really seeing the big deal on the age.
