BvS Jesse Eisenberg IS Lex Luthor - Part 9

How Lex lives in BvS courtesy of the Empire magazine article.

I'm wondering what museum they filmed at. The only time I remember them filming in the area of Detroit where the museums are was when it was reported that they were filming in the upper floor of the Detroit Main Library and when Amy was filming a scene at Wayne State University. Maybe Lex's Mansion was filmed in the upper floor of the Detroit Main Library or they filmed in the DIA.

The MSU building for Lex's party. That was his house.

That's in Lansing Michigan. I guess the Detroit museum thing was a mistake in the article.

I love how there is more than meet the eyes for Lex... and basically everything in this movie it would seem.

I believe it is.

And I don't think it is Lex's house. It doesn't seem to match what we've seen of interior in a least.

Being as how Empire said that the interior of the mansion was filmed inside a Detroit museum and the shots from the trailer don't match the MSU building, I's guess that the museum that was used for Lex's mansion was the Detroit Institute of Art.

Based on that photo of Lex next to what is probably his drink tray, I think you could be right. The Detroit Institute of Art would fit better with that décor and we do know that there was a gala event filmed somewhere other than the MSU building. I'm at work with limited functionality, so I can't post the photo directly, but the EW photo of Bruce dancing with Diana matches with photos of the interior of Detroit Institute of Art on Google:

Given how much they are trying to contrast Bruce and Lex, it wouldn't make sense for Lex to live in a super modern, minimalist mansion since Bruce's lakehouse already fits with that description.

I think they probably edited out the paintings on the wall.

Nice catch guys. It definitely seems to be the place where Bruce and Diana are. And I am of mind that it is Lex's place as well.

And that is why I am the World's Greatest Detective. :batman:

Everything. If it can be summed up its how unlike the Lurhor from comics he is.

There is no set Luthor from the comics. Sometimes, he's a criminal mastermind, sometimes he's a mad scientist, sometimes he's a corrupt businessman, and sometimes he's a mix of all of them.

A lot of people's problem with cinematic Lex isn't that they're "not the Luthor from the comics", its that they're not the luthor from an era of the comics that only represents a fraction of the character's overall history.

I think the root and branch of the problem is that he isn't a bald man in a suit.

Physically, he looks like a mix between the Birthright and Secret Origin Lex Luthor (before they lose their hair).

Luthor with orange hair long predates either of them.

If Jesse doesn't wear a green robe, have fangs and pointed ears, he's not the real Lex.

Also, his eyes must glow green from Kryptonite exposure. And he needs to have his hand amputated.

I truly hope Lex evolves in this universe. I want a truly threatening Lex Luthor. I think by his next movie appearance, he will be closer to that. Still pumped to see what Lexie does in BvS though.

Does anyone have a link to the teaser blurb Empire put out about this pic...where they talk about Lex's T-shirt???

Where they say this?

and That ape-with-a-detonator T-shirt looks like more than a hint at the thoughts percolating inside his big brain.

Yep....it's been bugging me for a while and I can't shake the notion it's a hint at Lex's plan.

Planet Of The Apes crossover confirmed.

Or... "The Red Apes are coming... The Red Apes are coming..."
