I was initially neutral, but after seeing Eisenberg's horrid preformance, I have to go with "kill it with fire, burn this trash along with the gangsta Joker"

What gang are people thinking of when they say this? I grew up on the south side of Chicago and I don't remember any Folks or Moes wearing flashy suits and sporting undercuts.

Just saw ant man and while im excited for eisenburgs portrayal, I feel like not casting corey stoll as luthor is a huge missed opportunity. He prty much was lex in that flick.

Yep. A boring, underdeveloped Lex with minimal personality and no charisma. But hey, he had a bald head and a battlesuit.

Yeah, agreed. Another villain that doesn't need any development because they're not going to last beyond the credits anyway.

He was bald, rich, and smart. That's where the similarities end.

Oh and he wore business suits! Praise Marvel for giving us the Lex we deserve! :D

So apparently Eisenberg's getting rave reviews and even a little bit of early Oscar buzz for for The End of the Tour, the David Foster Wallace flick that stars Jason Segel (who's also earning a little bit of Oscar buzz for his performance). Hopefully another sign of good things to come with this performance.

if he wins an Oscar before BvS is release that's good signs to me!

I don't think anyone's ever questioned his acting talents. People frankly just don't want him in the role.

I can say that for myself, when he was originally cast I wasn't feeling it at all. But the more I read about it and how they're portraying Lex (A Mark Zuckaberg archtype), then I got on board.

It would make sense that for a modern day Lex Luthor to be more like today's techie billionaries.

Yeah, but young techie billionaires are so much like Gene Hackman. ;)

BvS should do a viral marketing campaign focused on LexCorp. Would be cool.

Do you guys think they'll showcase Jesse's bald look in the next trailer? That's probably a long way off, but still, it's fun to speculate.

Our first introduction to the character was bald pic, so it's not as if they're trying to hide it. I'd say it's likely. I just hope they do't give away the reason for his baldness.

Yeah, I don't see them doing that. And I'm glad they're not hiding it. Though it is interesting that in the first pic they revealed, he was bald, but then everything since then has shown him with hair.
