I think the announcement will come in the next few days or so, because Jett has said countless times that the reason he posts the rumours on BOF is to keep Batman fans "in the loop", so by refusing to report these rumours, he really is taking us out of the loop. But I doubt Jett would just get tired of reporting Dent rumours and would take everyone out of the loop until official casting came around. So why would he take us out of the loop like this? Because (even though he doesn't specifically say) official casting is really close; like REALLY close! He probably knows that a decision is going to be made in the next day or 2, and doesn't see the purpose for any more rumours.

Ashton Kutcher has been officially announced to become gotham's new district attorney in Christopher nolan's the dark Knight.

That would really be something out of left field, it woudn't be the first time he plays a "serious disturbed" role

And I think it's pretty obvious that BOFs purpose is to keep Batman fans in the loop about what goes on in Hollywood (though many are fabricated by WB to throw fanboys off), not to break the big news first out of every other site out there.

Plus before Bale came on the scene I believe Nolan was quite keen on Kutcher for Batman. Maybe we might see another Cillian Murphy scenario here, with Kutcher being cast as another character.....

Perhaps Jett is "sore" about that article, but he should also be grateful for it putting things into perspective.
The amount of "bum on the street" rumors that BOF is known for running is ridiculous.
That being said, I like Ethan Hawke, and though I've never seen him "bring the crazy" before, which is what the role would obviously require in the third film, I'll totally get behind his casting if everything pans out.

Two-Face is the one Batman villain that truly needs a requiem from the previous franchise.

I agree to a point. The endless rumors are also kind of......eh. IMO many of these genre sites are full of that sort of holier than thou attitude. Jett has also had issues with Latino Review didn't he? Latino Review and their phantom TDK script or treatment. Much of all this is quite silly.
