Wasn't sure whether to put this in the film section or tv section so i put it in both. A mysterious teaser has been released for a new Bad Robot film or tv show and its about as cryptic as it gets. Let the speculation begin.

The words at the end "Soon he will know." Disappear one by one in this order: Know...he...will...soon. Who do we know that talks that way? And it starts with a shot of the stars. That's my wild speculation for the day.

Variety : Abrams is currently hard at work developing “Star Wars: Episode VII” for Disney but the “Stranger” clip is likely a new television or digital series.

I kind of hope it's a movie Abrams has been working on. I didn't even know he was working on super 8 until the teaser with the train hit, maybe this is something he's doing under the radar between big franchise movies.

The book is called "S." and is apparently about some traveler, and it is coming out in October.

My first thought was Aquaman - seeing that guy in the end, it can't be.

HOWEVER --

People mysteriously re-appearing from the Bermuda Triangle.

It fits the kind of mysteries JJ likes.

Whatever it is - an aspect of it has got to be the Bermuda Triangle because the whole thing that guy was saying seriously falls in line with people disappearing and coming back from the sea. Oddly a large part of it, it did sound like he was talking about Aquaman having to retake his throne.

Try paying to see a movie, only to have the screen go black before the third act even starts with a note telling you to go to a website to continue the adventure. The Devil Inside was a bad, bad idea...and this probably will be as well.

Just for fun - running commentary:

"He arrived knowing nothing of himself" - very Christopher Nolan and DC Universe and the water, AQUAMAN???

"Who is he? Soon you will know" - it has got to be Aquaman! This guy is iconic! Also could be a person coming to our world for the first time.

"Because what begins in the water shall end there. And what ends there shall once more begin." - serious Aquaman vibes! He was born in the water and has to return! Or it could be somebody tied to the ocean and coming back from it.

"This is what happens when men become lost" - Arthur Curry was lost as a baby - AWESOME!!! JJ is doing the Aquaman movie!!! But this is also starting to also play up the Bermuda Triangle.

"Men vanish. Men are erased." - It can't be Aquaman, but this is EXACTLY what happens when someone disappears in the Bermuda triangle.

"And reborn" - these men have been taken by the Bermuda Triangle, they disappear into another society where they are forced to adapt, and then they are tossed back out into the world. Are these indigenous people to be trusted or are they to be feared? What is out there?
