Joe Wright to direct live action Little Mermaid flick

Could be awesome. I want to see the Little Mermaid start some **** though. Like invade a small coastal city with a chariot pulled by 4 Great white sharks on the tip of a tidal wave.

This is the current state of my mind.

Oh by the way, why do you have a Yo Gabba Gabba avatar Terry?

Why you got a Momo one?

i would rather see live action addlin. ithink it could be like prince of persia.

I wonder if he is going to follow the book...if so...its going to be one sad movie.

Any other director and I would be skeptical, but Joe Wright is phenomenal. His visual sense is really above and beyond most working directors today. Can't wait to see what he'll do with this.

As long as it isn't a live action Disney version I am game!

They are not gonna go with the version of where she dies at the end. Cause too many kids and just about everyone else know the Disney version. So they are smart and are gonna work off that.

Cause if she died at the end, the parents would be pissed off, cause it made their kids cry. And the studio who is making this don't want that.

check out Splash with Tom Hanks, John Candy, Eugene Levy, and Daryl Hannah

Candy and Levy are hilarious in this

:word:

Domo, I meant.

Splash is such a good movie....the effects were also good....hopefully this movie will have good effects

Is this going to be a musical?

You're assuming that he's going to tell this as a children's story. It may not be.

Is this going to be a musical?

I would guess no. It will probably be based closer to the source material. Supposedly he is also basing it on a theatre produced version. I have no idea how it ends in that one.
