For those of you who appreciate score music, please go get your copies today. It's brilliant!:up:

Tracks 2, 8 and especially 5 are amazi-um, I mean, fantastic!

I still like the FF theme, if that's what it's called. They didn't use it as much as I wanted during the beginning credits, but it's a nice piece, on par with the X-Men and Spidey themes.

Ottman is great and I loved his score for both movies. I'm also glad that, unlike the X-Men, the FF got a consistent musical theme!

I already bought mine from iTunes :D Thanks for the reminder though... It was a superb soundtrack!

I saw it at walmart today.

I wished that had released a album with songs that had lyrics though.

/\ Yeah. :(

At least I got TF next week which should be good, but it really upsets me that Fox skipped out on that. I loved the last soundtrack... I also loved how they picked the music there were songs suited for each of the Fantastic Four as well as a team song.

Anyways, kick ass soundtrack- ESPECIALLY love the song "Pursuing the Silver Surfer" it's just a really kick ass drive fast song- seriously, I felt like FLYING down the roads... thank god there wasn't a police car around. He might have transformed into Barricade and try to kill me!!! :wow:

^You mean "Chasing the Surfer"? Yeah, that's a very good track, probably my favorite on the entire soundtrack.

Yeah, that's it.

The sound of that song even hit me the first time I listened to it, I mean it really sounds like an amazing remix which I didn't notice while watching the scene in theaters how much work, at least it seems like, went into getting this track perfect. Reminded me of this James Bond remix song by Moby:

^I checked iTunes a while ago and it didn't have it.

"Chasing The Surfer" is my favorite too! God, I can't stop playing it in my office. :p

That is my fave track too!!!

I love the percussion in that song, especially when Johnny takes off after him after the SS has morphed through the building....

well, i've only heard the music while i watched the film, and i must say i was very impressed with how well the music was done. that John Ottman dude did a splendid job! he's the best, other than John Williams.
so now i'm curious. this is the first time i've actually paid attention/or tried to find out who did the score for a movie, in a long time. since, i find most of the other music from comicbook movies as mediocre, compared to John Williams. but this John Ottman is very good.
what other movies has he done the music for??

Ottman did the second X-Men, a solid job with some great themes for characters but nothing overly mindblowing.

If you really want to see Ottman bring it and bring it amazingly, check out his score for Superman Returns. "Rought Flight"'s final minute is beyond amazing; its romantic beats are gorgeous ("How Could You Leave Us Like That"; "Reprise";) and its sadder moments are well done and with class ("So Long Superman"; "You're Are Not One of Them"; "Little Secrets/Power of the Sun")

He's really a fantastic composer and horribly underrated.....much like his best friend and collaborator, Bryan Singer.

oh see, i didn't really like the Superman Returns music. i mean, it was ok, but it's hard to beat the John Williams classic stuff. however, i thought it was very creative how Ottman did a long build up right before the transition into the classic Love Theme song, during the Lois/Supes flight.
the X-Men music was ok too, but still the FF2 score was the best stuff he's done thus far, imo.

I absolutely love the Silver Surfer theme and Doctor Doom's updated theme. :D

If anyone out there has it, may you please send me an album download?

when I was looking through the names of the songs on itunes why is Norrin Radd spelt Norren Radd?

For anyone who wants a link to the full score you can just PM me

I'll make sure to buy a copy and along with the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack burn it. Gosh Ottman has to be one of the lamest composers working. The best music in the whole X-Men series didn't even come from him. The last bit of music when Wolve is holding a nearly dead Rogue is some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. Tell this day I watch that scene for that bit of music. FF is the best he's done though.
