Hopefully they don't botch this like they botched Hard Boiled, because this is my favorite John Woo film.

I'm hearing that the Criterion sets for both Hard-Boiled and The Killer are still the better versions, and it really kills me to know that they both cost quite a buck and I haven't seen either film yet.

They need our support, they're doing a kickass job with Asian action movies

Also, how the heck are the Criterion releases better?
Granted, we lose the "Hardboiled" John Woo commentary and there's "dubtitles" on the DD release, but check out the comparison for both Hardboiled and The Killer...
