We re looking at a $27,5-30 mil weekend.

Will be at around $246 mil total Domestically and close to $700 mil WW.

I still can't get over just how stellar the OS/WW numbers have been for this. It's looking more and more likely that this thing is going to crack $1B and honestly I'm really hoping it does.
 
BvS stands at $873,63 mil.

Joker has good chances of beating that but its not 100% sure.
There is not way it misses the $850 mil mark and little chances it misses the $875 mil mark but it can still happen.

Id say there is about 80% it tops BVS.

Chinese movie that made pretty much all of its money in China. It really kind of shows just how much box office potential actually exists there. What it would take for a foreign film to reach such numbers idk...
 
I feel like someone needs to recreate the TDK Zoolander Jeep meme with Phoenix, De Niro, Zazie and the Thomas Wayne actor.
 
I didn't make a prediction for this one but if I did I would probably have been out by 50% lol.
 
So will this need to be particularly leggy to get to $1b? or is that still out of the question?
If so, is this destined to become 'best of the rest' - best under $1b. It's only $20m shy of Hobbs and Shaw, next then is Aladdin.
With Frozen 2 & Star Wars surely guaranteed to hit $1b, only Jumanji could gross more than Joker and not make $1b?
 
Based on the Monday gross of $2,74 mil which is a 66,7% drop from Sunday compared to the 50,4% drop from the previous Monday id say $1 billion ww isnt happening.

Domestically Joker will not pass $325 mil. It will probably end up with $310 mil.

As far as OS is concerned i think it wont pass $600 mil.

So Joker will end up with around $900 mil WW which is still phenomenal. #1 of all time for R-Rated films WW & #2 in the "DCEU" behind Aquaman.

OS started almost a week earlier so it will soon start to die faster plus Terminator Dark Fate (which has good reviews so far) will open soon which will probably affect every movie.
 
$900m is great. I never thought we’d even be having a conversation about a billion with an R rated Joker film. So where is this CBM fatigue again? Even unfancied properties like Aquaman, Venom and Joker are beating most other blockbusters out there.
