This just suddenly popped into my mind.

Heath is Austrailian.
Would anyone object to him speaking with an accent as the Joker?

I honestly can't decide, I think either could work very well. However I'm sure some fanboys would be outraged if Mister J spoke with an Australian accent.

I was just gonna say something about that. No, I think he'll speak in a english accent. If he spoke in a austrailian accent I think I'd be a little mad

No. Bale is English but he plays Batman as an American. Ledger is from down undah, but he'll play Joker as an American, as well.
