Jon Favs takes on Disney's Magic Kingdom

Tomorrowland would be cool.

They should try to base it off on the original concept art. (I love concept art!)

Well EPCOT was originally designed to livable prototype community that would develop scientific discovery and advancement as well as commerce. It was going to literally be an research community and civilian living. Kind of like its own institute or university, but also with resort and commercial spaces available too.

Cowboys and Aliens underperformed(or even bombed). so now they talk...... what to do.

i would give him a chance with Magic Kingdom.

I really liked Elf and Iron Man 1 but I think Favs just got lucky with those 2 since they're good because of their main stars and I don't think he is all that good of a director.

I doubt just cause cowbboys and aliens under preformed. Which was a different studio. Wold be to much bearing on disney plans on this film. Directors/actors/writers have bombs from time to time. They just have to pick up the peices and learn from any mistakes.

Also for this film maybe they are still only in script stage, and they(disney) haven't gotten a script they feel solid on yet. Plus doesn't fav have some other projects going on too.

this has so much potential for fun cameos depp as sparrow etc. but i really hope its not just a disney coated night at the museum

as this needs some huge elements of the haunted mansion

He just got done directing a TV pilot. I think its called Revolution..

So, anybody knows what happened to this project? Favreau's next film is going to be Chef, so, didn't he drop out of Iron Man 3 to do this?

Seems like we'll have to wait until after Jungle Book, and that's if their plans even go according to plan.
