It's a fun little moment. It does add just a little more depth to Jonah showing how obsessed and delusional he is.

I like the note that they didn't realize how brilliant it was until after they had cut it, because they originally just wanted to show fat and out of shape Jonah in the suit, but JK Simmons was in too good of shape to do that.
