Jonathan Nolan (brother of Christopher and screenwriter of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises and the Superman reboot) is penning a movie about the Great Chicago Fire for Warner Bros.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan is scripting Hell and Gone, a Titanic-style romantic epic set against the backdrop of the October 1871 inferno that burned down four square miles of the Windy City and killed hundreds.
J Blakeson (The Disappearance of Alice Creed) is in negotiations to direct for De Line Pictures and Warners.
