TDK scribe penning movie about the Great Chicago Fire.

Jonathan Nolan (brother of Christopher and screenwriter of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises and the Superman reboot) is penning a movie about the Great Chicago Fire for Warner Bros.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan is scripting Hell and Gone, a Titanic-style romantic epic set against the backdrop of the October 1871 inferno that burned down four square miles of the Windy City and killed hundreds.

J Blakeson (The Disappearance of Alice Creed) is in negotiations to direct for De Line Pictures and Warners.

Don't care for the fact that it's going to be a "romantic epic". Would have been cool if it just focused on a few friends or something during all the chaos.
