Josh Gad is Roger Ebert

I feel like this is super old news. Didn't we already know this?

Jonah Hill is great. I would've preferred him, but I guess we'll see how Gad does

I could see this being a surprise. No one believed Jonah Hill could give a good performance either

Well it's co-starring Will Ferrell and is billed as a comedy, so I don't know how much dramatic chops Gad will need to show, though hopefully he at least attempts a decent Ebert impression.

Physically, I can sort of see it.

The behind scene stuff between him and Siskel was fascinating. Siskel did a lot of stuff to sabotage him a few times. lawd. They would just go at it.

Here I was thinking it was a biopic :funny:

Damn. I was kinda hoping for a biopic. I think that could have been pretty entertaining. Oh well . . .

First, you have to get Chaz Ebert involved as an executive producer.

Second, you'd have to get someone to play Chaz Ebert. That would probably be Octavia Spencer. She would be easy to cast.

The hard part would be casting Gene Siskel.

The physical resemblance is mediocre, but maybe Stanley Tucci for Siskel? Or maybe Kevin Spacey.
