Julia Louis-Dreyfus is Valentina Allegra de Fontaine

I'm kind of hoping she gets shot. I mean, not fatally, a good villain is worth keeping around. But something along the lines of "You thought you had this tiger on a leash, and you were very wrong". Either Zemo or, hmm. . . probably Yelena. Or if you want to be over the top, both, and Val can complain about having been shot in *both* legs from a hospital bed.

What are her true allegiances? Is she working for someone else?

I had a theory it could turn out to be Leviathan, but who knows.

So how many films and shows she would have appeared before this film comes out in July 2024?

I'm just glad she got over those annoying sniffles/alleges for her Black Panther 2 scenes... if I had to listen to her doing that the whole time {shakes fist}

:funny:

It would be back eventually.

It’s funny to me that her Black Widow scene was originally meant to be her introduction. To me, her Falcon/Winter Soldier scene played much better as an intro.

She is the Amanda Waller of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

The most annoying character in the Mcu. Valentina for starters, doesn't look interesting, as she looks like your ordinary citizen working in an office and just talks and talks. There's no mystique, no allure to the character, even with that Rogue-like white streaks. In this movie, they wrote her as really an unlikable person, who was really only looking out for herself*

Oh I was just coming in to say that I think Valentina was one of the best parts of this movie. Loved her characterization, and loved Dreyfus. As someone who loved Veep, this felt like a more ruthless Selina Meyer playing in the MCU sandbox.

She's back! Her character is just so darn funny.

Lol

She impressed me this movie. I didn't like her casting at first. I think it has finally clicked that they're drawing a lot from Maria Hill with this version of the character.

I was just reminded by my IG feed, that Lisa Rinna played the 1st live action version of Valentina.
