Creating a Legend.

Create your own unique legend, be it God, or urban myth, tall tale etc.

All Hype! rules apply, so no excessive cursing, or graphically detailing sexual acts.

Keep it o PG13 or 12A rating

PM all entries to the user Fanfic Entries. The due date is August 26th.

Do NOT reveal yourself as author or your entries will be void. I want the winners to be chosen by best stories, not people voting for their friends.

I look forward to all your entries

Video entries ARE allowed this month. No longer than 10 minutes though, and same rules about cursing apply.

I honestly think that this contest should end sooner than the 26th, but that's my opinion. Maybe between the first or second week of August instead.

Any style you wish.

The two months gives people time to complete stories, and make it more of a competition instead of just getting one or 2 entry's
How many people have submitted entries?

3 so far :)

I see what you mean, but my argument is that an actual movie-script(100-120 pages) takes approximately one month to complete and edit, but for a short ten-minute story(ranging from 10-20 pages), takes a average two-three days to complete if you're devoted(I currently wrote 40 pages of a complete movie script, which'll be up here soon, in three days). I understand that this is a competition, so it takes longer to end but I personally think a month average is enough to complete a stort-story ranging 10-minutes.

Not everyone has to write in movie script format, they can choose to write however they wish. Also, not every writer writes at the same speed, not to mention completing and editing and revising a movie script in one month is rather fast. And, the fics hear vary in length.

When I started this, it was one month competitions, and I got nearly no entries, since I added the month, the traffic has improved. it gives the creator time to think of an idea, jot down some notes, possibly an outline, and then the full on script, movie or otherwise.

I see your point.

When are you going to put up the voting thread?

Oh I dont know maybe I could ban you :hehe:

the voting poll and entries are up ;)
Wrong, wrong. Banning me would be like getting rid of Doritos, they're just too damn good:word:
