I love this article. I was about to post this.

Nice.

The fluctuating Joker voice was intentionally done by Ledger, hope that clarifies it for some that were confused.

Unfortunate that they had to digitize part of the HK scene, I could tell that jump was cg in the trailer. Here's hoping everything else is up to snuff though.

Thanks for this, I thought the plane was for filming; not part of the movie!

...

Holy damn. I'm gonna need to rethink just going to a regular theater for this.

I'm so glad I'm seeing this in IMAX.

Great read!

"Ledger nailed it in principal photography. Everything on screen is his performance."

Officially puts to bed the notion Heath didn't finish everything on TDK.

Man, they had better do a commentary or release his Joker diary because that's the stuff I love hearing about.

Well thank goodness for Nolan's reluctance for looping and bringing actors back months after filming to record voices or else Heath could have maybe not been entirely complete with his role. I just love the way Nolan approaches to making his movies by making them real, working hard, not rushing things, and going for quality and doing every little thing possible to get the story he wants rather than rushing things and slabbing things together as you go and adding a bunch of special effects which seems to be the trend in Hollywood these days. Granted there will be people who hate this Batman franchise because of those various reasons and want a more fantasy approach, but me personally, this is the Batman I've always wanted. The Batman I envisioned as a kid and thinking how real it could be for anyone to be Batman.

Nolan FTW.

fantastic read.

nice to read something that isnt childish non sense around here for once.

Nice read

What are those new pics of in the last scan. I think the one on the right is bruce but I cant figure out the one of the left

I'll be seeing TDK both on IMAX & the regular theater on the same day .

Great stuff! Thanks for the scans!

Great read. Glad I have my Imax tickets

that's one of the better articles I've read recently

Awesome, thanks for the scans :woot:

Probably the best glimpse as to what Nolan is trying to express with the whole reality thing.

He's not trying to make a Batman film so when you leave the theater you go "wow, Batman could be real" which is what I think most people assume.

He wants people to forget they're actually watching a movie and feel more like it's an experience they're taking part in. And it's reflective in the viral marketing that's bringing Gotham to life. Nolan isn't trying to bring Gotham into our world he's trying to pull our world into Gotham.
