Loved this movie!

Apparently it was based on a children's book. It had an epic story, and some dark elements. CGI could've been better, but it was the 90s, when Kirsten Dunst was cute. What did you think?:yay:

I really liked it.
Such a fun movie.

:)

LOL when is the right choice of word....haha....yeah I loved this movie too!

I think I'm the only one I know who likes this movie. lol. I thought it was a fun ride, much like Zathura.

one of my favorite movies from the 90's.

I know this is a little off topic but didn't zathura start out as a sequel to jumanji then they just decided to base it off a different game?

Zathura is based off a book written by the same guy that wrote Jumanji, I believezzz.

Never heard that. Both movies are based on children's books by Chris Van Allsburg

I don't remember for sure, but I could have sworn I heard for the longest they were making a sequel to jumanji then one day I stopped hearing about that and started hearing about zathura.

I'm sure they had a sequel planned. Thank God it never took off.

yeah we probably would have ended up with robin williams coming back, and searching the world over trying to find the game and destroy it, after the new players are unable to finish the game and he tries to destroy it and ends up releasing the games animals on an unsuspecting world. lol :woot:

This is one of my favourite movies of my childhood. This, and Hook. I hope it's not a Robin Williams fixation  I thought Jumanji was a great movie, it was a great exercise in imagination.

i love that movie too! even its "Sequel", Zathura, was good too. and Zathura was also directed by the guy who's doing IRON MAN!

I don't know about the movie, but the storybook (I got it read to me a lot as a little 'un) is a sort of "semi-sequel" to Jumanji, I guess you'd call it. You see where the game ended up, and that's kind of where the storybook picks up at.

this was my favorite movie EVER in the early 1990's...I saw it in the movie theaters after I won my soccer game; there was only like one guy there and my family, lol. But yeah I love it and I was watching it on Cartoon Network the other day (which I thought only showed cartoons but okay  ) and I still loved it, its a BLAST! Awesome movie. I love Judy and Peter...and the monkeys are soo funny.
The coolest part is the stampeed!! And I thought the part were the vine yanks the cops car into the woods is sooo FUNNY!

Use to always like this movie, but I haven't seen it in a real long time. Can barely remember it.

Must mark this down in my movie tournament. Jumanji was one of Robin Williams Better movies.

Williams has hits and misses. Is say Jumanji is my second favorite Williams film behind Mrs Doubtfire.
