So looking at the park map I completely missed the part of the island that is barricaded off from the new park. I'm assuming those are the ruins of the original park and there are still wild dino's loose in those parts?

Could be really interesting to explore in JW.

I am still holding out hope that either Ian, Grant, Saddler, or the kids make a surprise cameo or at least they give us some closure in terms of their characters in the Jurassic Park universe. I mean it would make sense that Tim and Alex had some say so with Jurassic World considering Hammond was their grandfather.

According to the site, Masrani started the process of buying InGen after Hammond passed. The new park wasn't started until 4 years after the purchase. Even then, the park is supposed to have been open for 10 years. Any objections the others might have had would likely to have lost a lot of steam over the years. At best, we can hope for some references.

I really don't think there's any real need for closure. The shear fact those characters survived is closure enough IMO.

I don't understand why JW is getting so much flakk, how original can you get when 3 very different scenario's (JP, LW and JP3) are already done? Though I still hope they polish up the CGI, it doesn't look very good yet.
